Mobilising the Herd

Apparently over 20,000 complaints have been made to Ofcom regarding alleged racism and bullying on the current series of “Celebrity” Big Brother, apparently since the story broke viewing figures have shot up by more than 10 per cent.

If these 20,000 are so outraged about what they are seeing, when why the hell don’t they just switch the TV off? Then again, maybe they have, but the figures don’t bear that out. There was a “disgusted” woman on 5 Live earlier complaining that it was going on and on – why are you still watching it then?

Thankfully I don’t have a TV, not that I’d watch such shite anyway, so I can’t comment on the claims made, I do know it made Prime Ministers Questions though, which is a sad indictment of society today, I’d rather they utilise their time debating important matters, not the stupid behaviour of Z list celebs on a third rate television programme made for retards.

I bet most of those complaining probably didn’t find anything offensive anyway, they are just part of the media manipulated herd of sheep that about 90% of the British population now are, and are only doing it because a few others have kicked up a fuss.

Spooks is back, the only “drama” I watch on television nowadays.

I just wish they wouldn’t try and ruin every episode with silly background love stories.
