Up until now I really didn’t care who won the Champions League this year, but the thought of hearing Clive Tyldesley commentating on an all English final horrifies me.
Having said that, I must congratulate him on only mentioning the atmosphere at Anfield tonight 798675294347 times during the course of the game, and I don’t think he mentioned “that night in Barcelona” once, which must be a record.
I missed the match…ended up going to see Spiderman 3, which was entertaining enough in itself.
All we need now is Milan to stuff the yanks and a 6th cup for the Scousers (though I’ll be half hoping for a dour 1-0 scoreline so that it doesn’t get banged on about for the next god knows how many years)
